The Division’s Post Launch PvP Heavy DLC Revealed
Ubisoft have already set out their plans for The Division’s DLC.
Free updates will be released, adding new game modes that will ‘test and reward’ player’s abilities and skill in co-op mode.
Three paid expansions will be released over the coming year, one of which seems to be PvP heavy.
Expansion I: Underground
This first major expansion opens a new territory to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to 3 friends for intense co-op action.
Expansion II: Survival
In this expansion, the whole map turns into a Dark Zone for a hardcore multiplayer experience. Stay tuned for more information.
The third expansion is simply titled ‘Last Stand’ but Ubisoft are yet to release any information.
All three expansions will come under the season pass, along with a exclusive sawn-off shotgun, outfits and weapon skins. Season pass holders will also gain access to monthly benefits including content drops and special events.
Ubisoft seem to be going in hard on PvP if their second expansion pack is anything to go by. The question is, will The Division manage to main a level of balance in which the PvP is a finely tweaked, and fair, experience?
