Turned Based Mobile Game Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan Due For Release In Late Spring 2016
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada isn’t the only game based on the tabletop game releasing this year. French developer Grand Cauldron is working on a mobile version named Leviathan.
It’s still based on the Warhammer 40k space epic, only this time it’ll be on mobile platforms rather than the PC. Leviathan will remain loyal to the rule set of its source material, complete with all the strategy and depth you’d come to expect from a Warhammer title. The game will feature both a single player campaign and online PVP, Single player content will hand players the control of the Imperial Navy and Space Marine fleets, tasking them with taking down the Tyranids who lay claim to the galaxy. Ship can be customised and tweaked to fit the player’s style of desired play.
Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan is set for release on iOS and tablets in late Spring 2016.
“We’re so excited to be working on this game, being lifelong fans of Games Workshop games, and especially Battlefleet Gothic” said Stéphane Surget, CEO of Grand Cauldron, “we’ve laboured long and hard to make a creative and exciting game – we can’t wait to show it off.”
Leviathan will be playable at this year’s Warhammer Fest.
