2015 Game of the Year Contender Vermintide To Receive Free DLC
Warhammer The End Times: Vermintide was one of the 2015′s best release. The top notch co-op experience managed to build upon the foundations that Left 4 Dead had laid. Developer Fatshark have released various small updates and DLC packs, mostly addressing the lopsided loot system.
The first major update has officially been announced. This free update will add a new game mode and map. The new mode, known as Last Stand, pits players against a endless wave of enemies. Town Meeting will be the free playable map available to download at the of February.
Fatshark have also announced their first piece of paid DLC. Known as ‘Schluesselschloss, this map is set outside of Ubersreik in the surrounding Grey mountain area. Interestingly Fatshark capped off the reveal by saying:
”This will be our first paid DLC, bur since we don’t want to spilt the community you will be able to play the game if you join someone who owns it”
It seems that Vermintide is only going to get better and better as time goes by.
Warhammer The End Times: Vermintide is currently part of the Steam midweek sale.
